How a swap works

  1. Choose the coins. Enter what you send, pick what you want back, and paste your receiving address.
  2. Send your deposit. You get a personal deposit address with a QR code. Send the exact amount from any wallet or exchange.
  3. We swap it. As soon as your deposit is confirmed, it's swapped at the best rate available at that moment.
  4. Coins arrive. The new coins are sent straight to your address. This page shows each step live.

Do I need an account?

No. Pick the coins, paste the address you want to receive on, and send to the deposit address you get. That's it.

Who handles my coins during the swap?

Swaps are carried out by ChangeNOW, an established crypto exchange service. It receives your deposit, swaps it and sends the new coins straight to your address. Like any exchange service, it can occasionally run a routine check before releasing a swap.

What fees do I pay?

All fees, including the network cost of sending the coins to you, are already taken out of the amount you see under "You receive". There's nothing extra to pay.

Why can the final amount differ a little?

Prices move all the time. The amount shown is an estimate at today's rate, and the swap uses the rate at the moment your deposit is confirmed, so the final amount can be slightly higher or lower.

How long does it take?

Usually 10 to 30 minutes. Your deposit first needs confirmations on its blockchain (Bitcoin takes longest), then the swap and the payout follow within minutes.

What if I send the wrong coin, network or amount?

Always send the exact coin on the network shown. Sending less than the minimum, another coin or another network can delay your swap or lose the funds. If something went wrong, contact ChangeNOW support with your order ID: they can usually return or complete the swap.
